Dear Friend:

We are writing you to about a matter of utmost importance regarding the current and future make¬up of the California State Assembly. Specifically, our neighbor and friend Jeff Gorell is running for State Assembly in the 37th District when Audra is termed out in 2010. It is imperative that we elect Jeff to the Assembly.

You need to be aware that Ventura County will be ground zero in the next election. Sacramento Democrats are already targeting the 37th Assembly District because they only need a few more votes to have total control without any Republican opposition to raise taxes.

Electing Jeff Gorell is critical to keeping the 37th District in the Republican column and stopping the Democrats’ massive tax hike.

Jeff understands what it takes to reform wasteful government and revitalize our broken economy. He is a successful business advocate, a U.S. Navy Combat Veteran, University Instructor and former Ventura County criminal prosecutor. Jeff served on Governor Pete Wilson’s staff and worked with the California Manufacturer’s Association.

We simply can’t allow liberals in the State Legislature to slam the door on California business! And, it is ridiculous that our Golden State, with its perfect climate, is the poaching ground for neighboring states’ aerial advertising campaigns.

It is during these tough economic times when people are working hard to put gas in their tanks and feeling the pinch at the grocery stores, that those of us who have the wherewithal to give are counted upon to do so. Please be as generous as you can in supporting Jeff ’s campaign.
